Team + Club Camp

Ages: 10+

Skill Level: Advanced 

Prerequisites:
Campers must be enrolled in Club or Team or receive permission from the Youth Programs manager.
Campers should be familiar with top rope belaying before camp starts and know how to tie in and belay.

Price:
$560 members, climbing gear included!

Camp Schedule

• Monday-Thursday
  • 7:30am camper drop off at the gym
  • Campers load up in the Edgeworks van an drive to a local crag
  • Introduction to the "Leave No Trace" principles, outdoor climbing etiquette
  • Full day of outdoor adventure
  • 4:30pm camper pickup at the gym
• Friday
  • 9:00am camper drop off at the gym
  • Climbing (top rope + bouldering), instruction, basic technique instruction, knot-tying
  • Games and lots of fun!
  • 2:00pm camper Pickup at the gym

Drop-off and Pick-up

• Before and after care for camps is not available.
• Instructors will be available 5 minutes before camp starts and are not available to stay with campers after.
• Campers must be signed out by an authorized adult with ID prior to leaving.

Required Forms

All campers must have a valid Liability Waiver and an Outdoor Medical Form on file to participate in camp.

Please renew waivers every 12 months and outdoor medical forms every 9 months.

Summer Camp Terms & Conditions

Edgeworks has carefully crafted this policy to ensure fairness to both our participants and our staff. Our programs have significant pre-departure expenses, including permit fees, equipment preparation, staff training, and scheduling. Please contact us for clarification about this policy.

Payment Timeline

• Full payment is due at the time of booking.
• Twenty-five percent (25%) is considered the trip deposit and is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Cancellation Policy

When you cancel:

• If you cancel less than 30 days before the start of camp, no refund or credit will be issued.
• If you cancel between 30 and 60 days before the start of camp, a 50% refund will be issued.
• If you cancel more than 60 days before the start of camp, a 75% refund will be issued.
• If you ‘no-show’ to a program or any portion of a program, no refund or credit will be issued or pro-rated.
• Once you drop off your camper, no refund or credit will be issued for any reason including instances of inclement weather, environmental conditions, personal fitness, or injury.

When we cancel:

• Edgeworks reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a program at any time for any reason.
• A full refund will be issued.
• We will try to place you in the same program at a later date, if space is available.

Under-Enrolled Camps

Under-enrolled camps (fewer than 3 participants) are subject to cancellation 7 days prior to the start of camp.

Trip Cancellation Insurance

Edgeworks strongly encourages the purchase of trip cancellation insurance that covers losses in the event that illness or injury prevents participation in your chosen program. There are many providers of this service; we have had positive experiences with TravelGuard.com.

Scholarship Info

Edgeworks is proud to offer 1 scholarship per camp type at each of our locations, totaling 15 scholarships awarded each year.

Each scholarship includes:

• 100% of program registration fees
• Rental gear during program: shoes, harness, and a belay device
• Gear for outdoor days: backpacks, water bottles, and helmets

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants must come from low-income households.
• Please read the US Department of Education’s definition of low income for more information.
