Group Intro Event

Group Intro Event

Each 4-hour Group Intro Event includes a staff facilitator* who will work with your group to ensure a fun and memorable day of climbing and instruction. Our staff facilitator(s) work exclusively with your group to give you the chance to experience and learn top rope climbing within our facility. 

Cost:

  • $90/each, minimum $540
  • 6 weeks advanced booking and a 100% deposit (min $540 deposit)
  • Nonprofit groups receive a 20% discount. Must provide tax ID number.

Included:

  • 2 hours of climbing with a staff facilitator + 2 hours for our Intro to Roped Climbing class with a Climbing School instructor. 
  • 1 staff facilitator for every 5 climbers (*1:5 ratio)
  • Gear rental (shoes + harness)

Note: Edgeworks does not host custom group events or birthday parties; cakes and balloons are not permitted inside.

Details:

  • Groups of 5 - 12, book online only!
  • We will split the group the first 2 hours in the following way: 
    • Half will participate in the Group Climbing Event portion, belaying facilitated by Event staff. 
    • Half will participate in an Intro to Roped Climbing class, facilitated by a Climbing School instructor.
    • After 2 hours the sub-groups will swap. 
  • Groups larger than 12 require additional considerations, please contact us.
  • For the enjoyment and safety of everyone, groups of 5 or more youth (under 14) must be part of a staffed group event or youth program; walk-in groups of this size may be turned away.
