Who can compete?
Youth ages 7–17 and adults 18+ are welcome! Youth and adults can compete together in Session 1. Climbers age 6 and younger cannot compete on Saturday.
Can parents compete with their kids?
Yes! Parents can register and compete alongside their kids (ages 7+) during Session 1.
Is this a USAC-sanctioned competition?
No. Blacklight is a fun, community competition and results do not count toward USAC rankings.
Which category should I choose?
Choose the category that best matches the hardest grade you can typically send within 5 attempts.
What should I wear?
Climbing attire, neon, and anything that glows under blacklights are encouraged. Costumes are welcome, too!
How does the Costume Contest work?
The Costume Contest is open to registered competitors only, and you must climb in your costume to qualify. Eligible competitors receive an additional raffle entry for the costume prize drawing.
How do prizes work?
Each send earns one raffle ticket, up to 10 total. Use your tickets for chances to win prizes from our event sponsors.
Can I attend without competing?
Yes! Spectators are welcome to watch, cheer on competitors, and enjoy the Blacklight atmosphere.
Registration cancellations are fully refundable October 10, 2026 or earlier.
- Cancellations made on or after October 11, 2026 are non-refundable.
- Exceptions may be made for injury or illness and are granted on a case-by-case basis.
