Crack Climbing Seminar

Crack Climbing Seminar

The vast majority of traditional, multipitch, and alpine climbs follow lines of natural weakness in the rock. Learn how to effectively use your body to ascend cracks, from tiny "tips cracks" to body-swallowing "off-widths." This course also prepares climbers who are interested in learning to lead traditionally protected routes.

In this course you will learn topics like:

  • Hand and finger jamming techniques
  • Footwork for crack climbing
  • Taping techniques
  • Finding rests
