In this course you will learn:
- About equipment used for sport climbing anchors
- How to set up various anchor types
- How to clean your anchors
- About common and dangerous mistakes
Prerequisites:
- Participants must be 14 years of age or older
- Anyone under 18 years of age must have a waiver filled out by a parent or legal guardian
- Edgeworks Top Rope Belay Card
- Lead Climbing Course or equivalent knowledge
Participation:
- Registration is required for participation in Climbing School courses. Individuals who are not registered (including family, friends, and children) are not permitted in the instruction space.
- Adaptive/Accessibility: Essential Eligibility Criteria (EEC)
Equipment Required
- Rock Climbing Shoes
- Harness
- Belay Device
- Rental equipment is included in the course price.
- We recommend bringing your personal gear (harness, belay device, rock shoes) if you own them.
Late Entry
Arriving late greatly impacts the flow of this course. As such, no entry is permitted more than 5 minutes after the course start time. No refunds are given in these situations. Participants can reschedule into a later course with a 50% change fee from the original booking price.
We recommend that climbers take a Lead Climbing Course before this course. This foundational course will help you improve your skills and prepare you for being on "the sharp end."
Our Gym to Crag Course expands on the anchoring skill set, and will help you take your climbing to the outdoors.

Cancellation Policy
● You can reschedule your program up to 72 hours before it starts.
● Less than 72 hours before the start of a program:

You cannot reschedule.

No refund or credit will be issued for any reason.

If you ‘no-show’ to a program or any portion of a program, no refund or credit will be issued or pro-rated. Missing the first session of a multi-session program constitutes a ‘no-show’; no entry is allowed into subsequent sessions.
If we cancel:
● Edgeworks reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a program at any time for any reason.
● A full refund or credit will be issued if Edgeworks cancels a program.
